25 October 2023 the regular field meeting of the interschool methodical association of English language teachers of general secondary education institutions of the Delyatyn settlement council took place. The participants of the seminar talked about the formation of foreign language communicative competence with the help of interactive methods and forms of learning and art tools. An excursion to the Ivano-Frankivsk historical and memorial museum of Oleksa Dovbush, the Carpathian Art Museum and viewing of the Ukrainian film "Dovbush" not only increased the cultural, social and civic competence of the teachers but also provided the opportunity to improve such competences as communication in a foreign language. Nowadays a foreign language is considered as a means of communication, there fore perfect command of a foreign language is an excellent means of attracting foreigners to the culture of our own people.Interactivity in education is the ability to interact with other people, it is the ability to express one's own opinion or impression about the watched film, the seen works of art, the information heard during the excursion and the ability to reflect. The ability to tell in English about the Russian-Ukrainian war, about our national liberation contests, about our national Heroes, in particular about the opryshka Oleksa Dovbush, about wonderful Ukrainian works of art - is not only a foreign language communicative competence, it is the requirement of the time, it is our opportunity to be heard in the world and bring our common Victory closer. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
